By now, you should be convinced that you can make money online from affiliate marketing as a passive source of income and must be wondering how to start. As a matter of fact, India is emerging as the largest digital marketing hub and is giving a tough competition to the digitally developed nations.

Thanks. Really helpful video! Looks like I have to subscribe your channel because you are very straightforward and giving clear answers. Not like other people who are talking half an hour and still not answering questions.
One thing I do is have websites that are set up in lower competition niches where the items typically aren’t as expensive and where it’s easier to sell these products in larger quantities ($50 or less). Then I have other niche sites that sell more expensive products at much higher prices ($XXX – $X,XXX) that are sold less frequently. So this way I get to use the increased quantity of sales from these lower priced product websites to help me get up into higher payout brackets so instead of making 6% on that high end item I’ll get 8% instead.
Wonderful post. Thanks for sharing the insights. Would you mind throwing some light on not your product itself but the competition your product had prior to you entering. For example – I sell essential oil in the geated beauty category and since the competition is so fierce, I’m struggling to make organic sales. Indeed, sales and reviews seem to be the mantra for AMZ algo. I’m currently trending at 31 reviews and should hit the 50 review mark in 2 weeks hopefully. I’m truly hoping things start to change then.
Link cloaking Since affiliate links can be rather obvious at times, you need to cloak your links. People will actually delete your link, when this happen, if the people go to the site a purchase something you do not get any commission for that purchase. There are free versions of online software on how to cloak your links
I’ve found a 3 email series usually works well for this, but don’t start going this direction until you’ve had some experience with either email marketing or the other affiliate strategies we’ve talked about.
Similar to engagement, audience reach is simple to track on Facebook. On the “Campaign Report” page, see how many people viewed your ad and what your Relevance Score is. The Relevance Score will help you evaluate if your target audience actually liked your video. If your Relevance Score is poor compared to scores for other ads shown to your audience, Facebook will limit the reach of your video. The better the video and the better the targeting, the better your Relevance Score will be.
The graphic of your sales at the top was incredibly interesting. Your average sale had revenue of over $130, even after taking account of your point #9 (sell some inexpensive items). That’s impressive.
Amy, this is the most user friendly explanation of affiliate marketing and how to get started monetizing your blog that I have ever read! Wish it had been available when I got started last year. Great work and thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with us. I can’t wait to go deeper!!
The entire clip clocks in at just about five seconds. If you notice it in your Instagram feed, you’re likely to stop and watch the whole thing. They knew it would be tough to keep your attention—and they decided to work with that, by making it almost impossible to stop watching.
When I created a store page and used the Amazon Astore tool to “build my own store” I found it converted terribly. Less than 1% of my total income came from Amazon Astore pages before I stopped using them. If you’re not familiar with Astore’s just take my word for it when I say they suck.
Before you get started, please review Components of a Successful Integration, which is a checklist to determine the value of building an app on the API and to help you understand the investment needed to be successful.

Honestly you just need to narrow down to a niche that you want to focus on and then move forward with something. I spent less than a few hundred bucks when I first got started. Now years and years later, I’ll spend tens of thousands of dollars starting or buying something if I want to. But that’s the fun part is that unless you have a big inheritance everyone starts from zero and then tries to grow from there.
There is so much work in affiliate marketing, therefore, you need to be patient before making money online. Traffic is driven to the website of the marketer through affiliate marketing programs but as the marketer you have the responsibility of creating and maintaining relationships with partners.
Affiliate networks are nice for advertisers because the advertisers don’t have to run the affiliate program themselves. Affiliate networks are nice for publishers because it’s like one-stop shopping and they don’t have to hunt for individual programs. Of course, affiliate networks are nice for the affiliate networks because they are acting as middlemen and getting a piece of the profit pie.
